Persian Handmade Pictorial Carpet of Nowruz Ceremony is a picture of six young Iranian women in local costumes celebrating Nowruz. One of the girls is holding a tambourine and is playing the traditional instrument. Another is reading Hafez and there are three apples on her long skirt, and Hafez's big book is in her hands. Below the table there are a container of fruit, jars and pots of yellow, white and blue flowers, and some lotus flowers. There is also a large mirror in the old frame style next to the girls. Beneath their feet and where they are seated is a large rug.
